Donald "Donnie" Versaw wakes up to no power, no heat, and three feet of snow outside. To make things worse, none of his electronics seem to work. His phone, his laptop, even the flashlight with batteries have stopped working. After a couple of days without power and snow continuing to fall, Donnie ventures out in search of answers, but all he finds are more questions. Donnie links up with a few other survivors in an effort to help people through this storm, only to stumble upon a murder.
